Rue 21: My Fashion Savior

To start off, I am nowhere near being rich, I mean hello I'm a college student. I am doing whatever I can just to get by. With that said, I absolutely love dressing nice. I think this is true for more than half the people in the world. So, although I may not be rich Rue 21 allows me to get clothing that is "in style" without going completely bankrupt. On numerous accounts I found myself going directly to the back of the store to find the clearance section. I always find racks that have clothing for anywhere from $3-10. I would definitely recommend  Rue 21 over, and over, and over again. 

QUICK TIP: If you really want to find some affordable deals head straight to the back side of the store. There's no way you can miss the big 3 and 5 dollar signs. :)

NYC New York Color Show Time Glitter Eyeliner

I received this product from Influenster for testing and reviewing purposes, and come to find out, I love this eyeliner. I always find that it lasts me all day long, and it is almost completely smudge proof! On top of this fact, I really love how this eyeliner just makes your eyes pop, and it's all because there is a hint of sparkle in the eyeliner. I LOVE LOVE LOVE IT!!

Broadway Nails imPRESS Press-on Manicure

So, I got the Influenster College VoxBox, and the "Broadway Nails imPRESS Press-on Manicure" set was included in the box. First of all, as soon as I got the package I was so confused. The packaging looked like fingernail polish. Come to find out they were just press on nails. No fingernail polish was included. So, when I put them on at first since I am very new to press on nails I put the nails on upside down. I suggest since this brand may have quite a few new users that they specify top from bottom. Luckily after my sister pointed out that I had put the nails on upside down I was reluctant to find that there were two complete sets included in the packaging. The bottom line is that there are a few great qualities about this product for example no drying time, and it can be effortless when you know what you're doing.


QUICK TIPS: After originally messing up I found that the rounded side of the press on nails are supposed to go against your cuticles rather than pointed upward.

Bare Minerals: A nice clean flawless look.

I have been using bare minerals for the past few months, and I absolutely love it!! Bare minerals makes my face look clean yet flawless. If you hate the "cakey" look of liquid foundation, then you'll love bare minerals. The only downside is that the kit comes with many different powders which can sometimes be very confusing when deciding which goes on first.

Quick Tip: If you are newer to the whole "makeup" universe, then this product may not be for you.

Maybelline Baby Lips Lip Balm

When I first used baby lips I was very taken back by the pink color it left on my lips. I was expecting it to be just sort of a lip balm. After I wore it for a while I got use to the bright color and loved it more and more. It also helped that my lips were extremely soft.

Quick Tip: If you're only looking for a lip balm then choose a lighter color in this brand. If you're looking for a little "pop" of color then you can choose a brighter color! Haha I think this tip was pretty obvious, but can be helpful.

The Downfalls of Being an Online College Student

I've been an online student at Southeast Missouri State University since the Fall of 2011. At first I was really excited to become a student. That quickly faded away after I briefly remembered "hey I'm an online college student".

What do you think when you think about becoming a college student? Party's? Friends? Lifelong memories? Well, yes that's true that most college students will experience that. Well, all college students besides me. All I have been experiencing since Fall of 2011 is the inside of my home office. I'm 20 years old and I stare at this desktop computer more than anything. My advice to people who want the whole "college experience" do not take online classes!!! Live on campus, and have fun!

The Oh-So Addictive "Pinterest"

I absolutely love Pinterest!!! I already have my entire future planned out from my wedding dress to choices of baby cribs. This site is definitely fun when you're planning something that can involve several choices. Example: Wedding, House Decoration, Baby, and just when you want to catch up with the latest fashion trend.

Maybelline Illegal Length Mascara

I love this mascara! It plumps my lashes right up! Plus, it's almost like it gives my lashes extensions. It doesn't stop there it is also great for the lower lashes. I hate how some mascaras can be messy when trying to get the lower lashes. This mascara brings my lower lashes to life instantly. I don't go anywhere without it!!
