Is Plexus Slim a Weight Loss Scam: My 30-Day Experience

Hey everyone. So you caught me. I fell into the trap of weight loss supplements. First of all I've always been the type of person who has been very superstitious about using weight loss supplements. I always thought and have been told that yeah they'll make you lose weight, but when you stop using them you gain all of that weight right back. Could this be the same for Plexus Slim as well?

So, first of all what pulled me into even wanting to try Plexus Slim was the fact that A LOT of my friends were trying it, and had sworn success with it, but that's not all. My friends and other people on FaceBook had claimed that Plexus Slim had changed their entire lives. They claimed they had more energy, and that their illnesses were miraculously cured among many other claims that people were standing by. After I heard all of this I was definitely on board I wanted nothing more than to try this. I mean it's obvious if you know me that I have a few pounds that I could stand to shed, plus I am the type of person who is always groggy. I personally find myself taking long naps in the evening. So I thought what would a little extra energy hurt anyhow?

So, after deciding I would at least try a month of this I set out to buy Plexus Slim. The only weird thing about this is you have to buy the product from a sponsor. At first I didn't know what this meant so I did a little research. I found that a sponsor is a person (just anyone) who is paid by The Plexus Slim company to sell its products. These people can sometimes also be there for guidance or help if you feel you need a question answered. So with this said I found a local sponsor through Facebook, and with her I purchased the Plexus Slim 30 day system.

Here is my experience with it so far:

Week 1 Oct. 1-7: I have noticed a tiny bit of extra energy that I haven't had before, but it really is nothing to talk about right now. As far as weight loss goes I have gained one pound since I have started Plexus.

Week 2 Oct. 8-14: I feel the need to take less naps now. I now have my afternoon naps to probably every other day versus every day. It's a slight change, but still not life changing. On the upside, at the end of the week I have lost 6 pounds, and one inch off my waist. I also feel less hungry all the time consequently cutting out almost all junk food.

Week 3 Oct. 15-21: By the time this week was over I have noticed that I am still feeling less hungry and I am not constantly eating like I was before I started Plexus. The only thing that I am noticing that is the same prior to Plexus would have to be that I am still constantly having soda cravings. So, of course I have gave into these cravings on several occasions. Overall, by the end of the week I have gained 2.8 pounds. This made my entire weight loss amount this month a total of 3.2 pounds. Also, I am still taking a two hour nap once a day in order to feel less groggy and tired throughout the entire day. Therefore, I guess I could say my energy level has not changed at all. One other thing is that I had my blood pressure checked and it was normal, but I also found that my heart rate was a little higher than usual and I had some symptoms of dizziness. Now, I cannot 100% say that this is because of Plexus Slim, but this is about the only thing that I have changed lately.

Week 4 Oct. 22-28: Week four was my last week, and I am very disappointed to say the least. When I started Plexus Slim I seen all the transformation videos and pictures, and the people in them were claiming that they lost anywhere from 10-20 pounds in one month. This is exactly why I made the decision that losing 10-20 pounds would be worth the 100+ bucks. In the end I lost only 4 pounds. I think this proves that Plexus Slim is not a miracle worker. Now, although it may work for some people IT DOES NOT work on every single person.

UPDATE: In reply to the people who are congratulating me on losing 4 pounds, yes I agree that this is great, but I would have rathered not to spend over $100 to do so. Also, after a while of thinking, the Plexus system requires you to drink a ton of water. They push that thought into your head over and over again, drink, drink, drink water! With this being said, it is a proven fact that drinking more water alone can help you with losing weight. How do I know that I didn't lose 4 pounds simply because I drank a bunch more water than I am use to normally drinking?
