My Beagle: going from hating dogs to loving them.

So, let me just start out by saying that I've never really been a "dog person". I always thought dogs smelt, and I have this thing where my hands always have to be clean and dogs definitely do not go by this rule. I have not liked dogs from when I was younger up until I got this crazy idea...

My fiancé and I were together at the time for a year and I thought what better way to become closer than to get a dog. The only other option was having a baby and I'm not graduated from college yet so I decided that wouldn't be smart. So we looked on Craigslist for a dog with no preferences besides the fact that we wanted a medium sized dog. After a week or so we finally found a dog that was perfect. There was a man who was selling beagles and I decided I had to have one. The first time I saw my puppy she was so thin and dirty looking. Regardless of the fact that I had a clean hands policy I picked her right up and my fiancé paid for her. I think that was the second I fell in love with her and became a "dog person".

So, on the way home we decided her name would be Molina after our favorite baseball player Yadier Molina who plays for the St. Louis Cardinals. Ever since My fiancé and i love her more and more every day.

I think she loves us too...

Molina does this every single time Zach gets home from work and she won't stop barking and whining until he lays down and let's her cuddle him.

PicMonkey: Making ugly people look beautiful everyday.

PicMonkey is a website that allows people to edit their pictures. From resizing, to adding text, to making yourself look thinner PicMonkey seems to do it all.

With that being said, my little sister was the first one to show me this website. I was astonished at how PicMonkey looked and worked just like Picnic (another online photo editor). I'm not sure how the two websites are related, but they are pretty much the same thing. (Unfortunately Picnic has been discontinued)

The funny thing is after hearing the name of the website "PicMonkey" I couldn't stop laughing. To me, the name was just hilarious. The first thing I thought of when I first heard it was that this must be a website for turning zoo animals into beautiful people.

Putting the silly name aside, PicMonkey is a really good site if you want to edit your photo really quickly, and efficiently. Unfortunately some of the aspects of PicMonkey have to be paid for by purchasing sort of a membership plan. Regaurdless of this fact, PicMonkey can be used free of cost to do just about anything you can imagine. I would really reccommend PicMonkey if you're a person who does not want to purchase a fancy photo editor that may cost you an arm and a leg. Go check it out now!

Cocoppa: Try it out now!

Cocoppa is a free app that I recently found on Apple's app store, and I've been using it for the past few days constantly. Cocoppa is an app that lets you decorate your Ipad and Iphone (and I'm sure other devices) from top to bottom. I recently just went through and changed the design of all of my icons on my homepage, and I also decided to change my wallpaper. I can't help it, I absolutely love the cute designs they offer.

Although I love this app, there are a few downfalls as well. For example, there isn't much on the app for guys. Most of the icons, designs, stamps, and wallpapers are pretty girly. One other thing, the app is pretty glitchy right now, and kind of slow, but I really thought the wait was worth while when I seen everything done. Now my iPad and iPhone are both unique, and have their own style. I really recommend you try this app out! Search Cocoppa on your app store now.

Being a Night Owl...

So, we all know by now (if you noticed the time stamps on my blog) that I'm a night owl. I wake up at around 3pm and go to bed at around 7am. Ever since my fiance moved in I made a promise to myself that I would not have one of those relationships where either I'm sleeping and he's awake, or he's sleeping and I'm awake constantly at different intervals. So, to make sure this doesn't happen I stay up all night long until he gets home from work then we spend a couple hours together, and after that we head to bed. Now, the downfalls of being a night owl are: I have to catch myself before I text my friends and wake them up past midnight; waking up early to make it on time for appointments is just absolutely horrible; by the time we wake up and feel rested everything in town is closed; I never feel completely rested anymore; I have to put black blinds over my windows so that I can sleep good; and none of my friends really like staying out late with us on the weekends.

There are many downfalls for this schedule, but I guess I can't really complain because my fiance means the world to me, and I would sacrifice all of that and more for him, especially if it means I can spend more time with him. I just hope one of these days he gets a job where he can work in the daytime before this "nighttime routine" starts taking years off my life.

Twitter: My love, hate relationship.

When twitter first came out I thought it was just for people who wanted to catch up on what their favorite celebs were doing. Regaurdless of this thought I decided to make a profile just to check it out and it turns out you can not only check up on celebs, but you can also catch up on what your "real life" friends are doing as well. This may be awesome for you if you live in a large town and have a lot of friends, but for me Twitter is boring! I know without a doubt that I would absolutely love Twitter if I had friends on there, but I guess in my "neck of the woods" people aren't catching onto Twitter as fast as people in bigger cities. I may have 12 friends on Twitter that I actually know, and I know what you're thinking: "you're such a loser who doesn't have any friends." Fortunately that is not the case. I have over 800 "real life" friends on Facebook, I just wish they would all just transfer to Twitter so I could stop having conversations with myself and actually have conversations with other people. So, go ahead people, follow me on Twitter make it less boring.

I'm getting an iMac!!! Any advice?

My sisters and I are planning on starting a photography bussiness, and I needed a new computer for photo editing. I tried looking all over for the best computer that would make it easier for me to edit and store photos sufficiently. So, this past weekend I ordered an iMac off Ebay. Yeah, I know people probably think that ordering a computer off Ebay probably isn't the best idea, but trust me it's legit. Anyways, I am so excited for my new computer to come in! I cannot wait to get down to bussiness and start making a little extra money, and hey it would also be nice to make the money back that I spent on this sucker! I got the late 2009 27" screen iMac. If anyone has this or is planning on getting an iMac (any year or model) please let me know by commenting below about how you're liking your iMac. Also, if you have any tips or tricks on this computer I would also love to hear it!
